Rugged Coast

Most days feel like the inside of an office building. Rugged Coast doesn't.

You don't need another fragrance that smells like a candle aisle. You need five seconds that transport you somewhere real — standing on a windswept shoreline, evergreens at your back, salt air cutting through fir and cedar.

That's what Rugged Coast is built to do.

The blend: Cedarwood and Siberian fir form the backbone — cold, coniferous, alive. Sweet orange and lavender cut through with brightness. Haitian vetiver — rare, and used by almost no one at this price point — anchors it all with a smoky, earthbound depth that keeps it from smelling like everyone else's "outdoorsy" scent.

The one thing nobody else will tell you: most "woodsy" fragrances fake the forest with synthetic musk. Rugged Coast doesn't. It's built on real evergreen and true vetiver — which is why it doesn't smell like a candle. It smells like a coastline.

Wear it once. See if anyone asks what it is. (They will.)

Who it's for: Anyone who wants a woodsy, coastal scent built on real evergreen and vetiver essential oils instead of synthetic musk, in a bar made the old way.

How it's made: Cold process, built on tallow, beeswax and milk. Cured for 8 weeks. Beveled by hand. Made in small batches in Greenville, SC.

How to use: Wet the bar and your hands or a washcloth, work up a lather, rinse.

Care & how long it lasts: Keep it on a draining dish, out of standing water, and let it dry between uses. According to customer feedback, a bar lasts about a month.

Size: 5 oz bar.

Ingredients: Tallow, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Milk, Essential Oils (Cedarwood, Siberian Fir, Lavender, Sweet Orange, Haitian Vetiver).
