Andrea & Zach

Co-Owners, Provision Soap Co.

Some businesses begin with a business plan, a strategy, or a spreadsheet. Ours began with a simple desire: to build something of our own. Something honest. Something useful. Something made well. We’re Zach and Andrea — husband and wife, parents of two young daughters, and the founders of Provision Soap Co.

This business started quietly. Years ago, a soap making book was bought long before life had made room for it. Then one day, the timing was right, and the first batch was made.

The First Batch

When that first batch was finished, we both knew right away: This wasn’t just a fun experiment. It was genuinely good.

Beautiful, high-quality, and better than we expected. The kind of product that makes you stop and think, this could be something real.

Within a month, Provision Soap Co. was born.

Why Andrea Makes the Soap

Andrea is culinary trained and spent years producing prepared foods in a commercial kitchen for a busy local café and grocer.

That experience shapes every bar we make.

She understands ingredients, balance, process, quality, and timing. She knows what goes in matters — and that rushing good things usually ruins them.

Every bar is handmade in small batches and cured for a full eight weeks because quality matters more than shortcuts.

Why Zach Builds the Rest

Every maker needs support behind the scenes.

Zach handles the website, writing, systems, marketing, and the work of helping a great product reach the people who will appreciate it. He also is Andrea's apprentice in the soap making process.  

From the beginning, it was clear our strengths fit together naturally.

One of us builds the product. One of us builds the business around it.

Together, we’re building something we believe in.

Why This Matters

At the center of all of this are our two daughters.We wanted to build something that gave our family more freedom, more ownership, and more time together.

We wanted work tied to our values.We wanted to create something real with our own hands.

Provision Soap Co. exists because we believe craftsmanship still matters. Integrity still matters. Quality still matters.

And we believe everyday products should feel better, work better, and come from people who care deeply about making them.

We are, in the oldest sense, makers. And we're glad you found us.
